the team. It’s a young, vibrant and friendly culture that promotes open
and honest communication as well as knowledge sharing.
Western Australia is currently setting a cracking pace on just about every
main economic indicator, including housing, jobs, business investment and resource
development. Not surprisingly, our Western Australian practice has a strong
emphasis on the State’s surging energy and natural resources’ sector,
although it’s also well represented in other areas of the economy.
Perth is a modern city boasting a delightful climate and a relaxed lifestyle
with a strong emphasis on outdoor recreational pursuits.
We’re delighted with the calibre of the 40
new graduates who joined our office in 2006, especially given the intense competition
for graduates in the disciplines in which we’re interested. We think it
says a lot about KPMG’s appeal as an employer of choice. It’s also
a solid professional foundation for the growth of KPMG in Australia.
