KPMG in the community

KPMG acknowledges it’s part of a wider community. We seek to contribute to the communities in which our people live and work.

It means that KPMG gives you an opportunity to support community causes and activities you’re truly passionate about.

Community partners

KPMG works closely with a number of community partners to assist these organisations achieve their community objectives.

Nationally, KPMG works with United Way, The Starlight Children’s Foundation, Australia Business Arts Foundation, Indigenous Enterprise Partnerships, Australian Business and Community Network, AFS Intercultural Exchange Program, Great Barrier Reef Foundation (ZooX Fund) and Earthwatch.

While KPMG embraces and supports partnerships with community organisations nationally, it also understands the importance of local relationships.  Local community partners allow our people to make a difference in their community, through volunteering and fundraising opportunities.

Project Out There

KPMG in the community is not just about providing financial grants to charities.

Project Out There is our internal grants program, which encourages our people to take up voluntary work and helps them to build stronger links into the community. The program supports our people by donating grants of either $500 or $1,000 to community organisations that our people are involved with.

"KPMG's commitment to its communities means being engaged and sincere about our investment in the community and our role as a responsible corporate citizen. Commitment to our communities is at the heart of our firm's values and it's another way that we help our people develop both professionally and personally. It is inspiring to see the enthusiasm that our people have towards their community work whether it be providing a range of pro bono services, volunteering, fundraising or other activities."
